LOS ANGELES - All quiet on the Western front.

That's the scene right now at the NHL Entry Draft in Los Angeles. Teams are hunkered down in their war suites to discuss final strategies while GMs field trade emails and fire off counter offer messages.

There's been no action of yet but there is the possibility of a major deal later in the day as teams try to move up in the draft order.

The first round goes tonight beginning at 6 p.m. with the Edmonton Oilers holding the first pick. The Oilers are expected to select Taylor Hall. The Boston Bruins will pick second and Tyler Seguin is likely their choice.

We'll cover the draft with a live blog on this site beginning at 4:30 p.m.
