On the road with the Bombers in Edmonton

  • Print
  • Update time: DT Doug Brown is here with the Bombers but did not participate in the day-before walk-through practice. Brown has missed most of practice this week with flu-like symptoms and had a headache after flying with the team. He was sent to his hotel room to rest but should be good to go against the Esks – the Bombers hope.
  • Listed on the 46-man roster but not dressing are DE Riall Johnson, WR Aaron Hargreaves, CB Brandon Stewart and RB Yvenson Bernard. QB Stefan LeFors will handle the holding chores on field-goal tries.
  • Easy way to can tell you are in an NHL city: all the talk today, despite this being the opener of the CFL season and the Eskimos kicking off their season on Thursday, was about the Oilers and their moves in free agency. Big moves with Dwayne Roloson leaving the Oil to go tend goal for the Islanders and former Jet Nikolai Khabibulin headed to Alberta.
