Above and beyond
After looking for some time for a gift idea for my Aunty Marg, who is in the Boundary Trails Medical Centre in Winkler having knee surgery, I decided to get her a special treat, perhaps chocolate or sweets.
I looked for restaurants in the area and came across the Dairy Queen. I contacted the owner, Ben Rempel, and asked about having an ice cream cake delivered to my aunt.
Although Ben had never done this before — or even been asked, for that matter, he was so kind and gracious that he offered to personally deliver it to her.
He was so accommodating that I would like him to know how truly appreciative I am, not to mention how happy my aunt was when she received it.
It’s not very often you see someone willing to go above and beyond. Kudos to you, Ben!
Thank you again.
