Hey there, time traveller!

My husband and I had a 7 a.m. appointment at the Pan-Am Clinic.
As my husband is no longer able to drive, we depend on Handi-Transit for our medical appointments. This particular morning the temperature was minus 30 degrees C and our Handi-Transit cab arrived at our house at 6:15 a.m.. I guess due to the early hour, light traffic and good road conditions, we arrived at Pan-Am at 6:45 a.m.
Our driver dropped us off at the ramp, and we proceeded to the front door, only to find the doors locked and a sign saying, "Clinic closed - Office hours 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Needless to say we did not look forward to a 15 minute wait in that weather.
As we stood at the door, shivering, a car pulled up, and a gentleman opened his car door and said, "I’m waiting for my appointment at 7 a.m. Would you like to sit in the car with me where it is warm?"
We thanked him profusely and got into his vehicle which was really nice and toasty. We chatted and introduced ourselves and found out that not only did he live in our area, his daughter and our grandson went to the same school, Miles Mac. Small world!
I am writing to thank Mr. Jackson for his kindness to two shivering oldies and commending him for being An Angel in Disguise. You are a credit to the human race. Thank you.
