Angel in the parking lot
We met an angel at the Garden City Shopping Centre parking lot.
As we neared our car, my husband collapsed, and in an effort to support him I went down as well.
Immediately, a couple who, I learned, was on their way to a fishing trip with their children, stopped to help. The young woman called 911 and insisted on waiting until the ambulance arrived.
I can’t remember her name, but she was an angel in our distress and we are deeply indebted to her.
Incidentally, after several hours in the hospital for tests, my husband was given a clean bill of health. Must have been the heat.
