Bad driver treated well after mishap

  • Print

I HAVE never been a great driver. In fact, I have written to this page owing to another driving incident.

I was driving onto west Broadway when I rolled over a short divider. My poor car was hooked on the top of it.

Now, many people jeered (understandably), and pictures were also taken — I will probably be on the Internet as a new meme very soon. However, most people were genuinely concerned and asked if I was OK.

I’d like to give a giant thank you to Mia, the cyclist/mechanic who not only checked out my car but stayed with me and assured me I was not as big an idiot as I felt.

I’d like to give another giant thank you to "the bulldog" from Tartan Towing, who just happened to drive by and give me a hand.

I promise you both I will always look both ways and make sure I don’t drive over another divider.
