Cataract surgery at Misericordia Hospital
I would like to laud loudly the excellent care I have received, on two occasions, at Misericordia Hospital, when undergoing cataract surgeries.
Dr. Rehsia performed both surgeries and both were very successful.
The extreme attention the hospital personnel give to make sure that surgery will be carried out on the correct eye and on the correct patient is particularly noteworthy. They repeatedly asked me my name, age and the eye on which the surgery was to be performed.
They are touchingly caring, courteous and respectful. After the surgery, the hospital even provided me with a breakfast. They discharged me only when a family member of mine had come to pick me up.
My hat is off to Misericordia Hospital and to Manitoba Health for providing such superb health service.
