Christian, the travel angel
I was leaving a rather tight spot in a badly designed parking lot. As I was manoeuvring, I scraped the underside of my front bumper on an ice bank.
Once on the main road, it became loud and clear that something had come loose. I pulled over and looked at it and could see nothing. I continued another block or so and pulled in again to look again, still I couldn’t see what was making the horrendous noise.
I figured I could make it to an auto body shop about eight blocks away so I kept going. It was bad. You could hear it for blocks, so I pulled over again.
This time a truck was right behind me because he had heard it. Before I knew it, he was on the road at the front of my car assessing the situation. Back to his truck to get a drill and tie wraps and had my car road worthy in minutes.
Christian was my travel angel that day. He works for Ice Age Mechanical, and I called to let them know what a great employee they have. Of course, I also added Christian to my prayers of gratitude that night.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
