Destined for a beautiful life

  • Print

Our flight to London Heathrow was cancelled on Dec. 19, and we were both left wondering if our plans to spend the holidays with loved ones would end in disappointment.

Fortunately we met up again on Dec. 22 at Calgary airport and arrived safely at our destination the next morning.

But but before take off, this lovely young woman, a second year university student, majoring in political science, kindly offered me her ‘First Class’ seat. It was a wonderful experience for me and I remain overwhelmed with her random act of kindness to this day.

I am certain that this ‘angel’ is destined for a very beautiful life.

The perfect gift I gave myself for Christmas was perfected because of her generosity. Travelling first class was not on my bucket list, but I put it on and can now cross it off.

Cheers from a very grateful Grandma.
