From a thankful senior

  • Print

I was walking at River Avenue and Osborne Street when I tripped and fell on my face.

As I was getting up with my nose bleeding profusely, Marylou and a friend came rushing with napkins and suggested I should press them to my nose. They asked if there was anyone they could call and I asked that they call my daughter Suzanne at work.

They then walked me to the nearby Starbuck’s so I could sit down. The waiter gave me an ice pack for my nose. Marylou and her friend stayed with me until my daughter arrived.

When my daughter did arrive, we went to the Misericordia Hospital and thankfully, nothing was broken.

I wish to thank the staff who were so nice and acted so quickly.

I want to thank Marylou and her friend for their quick assistance and the waiter at Starbucks who provided an ice pack. If it weren’t for their quick actions, things might of turned out differently.

I am a thankful senior.
