Gift of anniversary wine
On Nov. 28 my husband and I went to the Portage Avenue West Keg restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Halfway through the meal our waiter came by to tell us he had a nice surprise for us. The lady sitting behind our table had paid for our wine.
We wanted to thank her but she had already left. That was such a wonderfully kind thing for her to do and it made our dinner even more enjoyable. We will certainly pay it forward.
