Got them to the church on time
A friend and I were to attend a wedding at Fort Whyte Alive.
I thought I knew how to get there, but as darkness settled in, it quickly became clear we were hopelessly lost.
We stopped at a gas station at McGillivray and Kenaston boulevards for directions. A young man there looked up a map for us and while we were trying to sort out where we had to go, a very kind lady, named Giselle, overheard us and said "Follow me. I will take you there."
Thanks so much, Giselle. We made the wedding on time, remembered again how wonderful Winnipeggers are, and had a wonderful time instead of being totally stressed out.
