Grateful for purse’s return

  • Print

I did my grocery shopping at Sobey’s on Henderson Highway, put my groceries in the trunk of my car, left the cart in front of my car and drove off.

It wasn’t until I arrived at the drug store at the McIvor Mall that I realized I didn’t have my purse. I rushed back to Sobey’s, parked in front of the doors and ran in to the store. I asked the clerk behind the service desk if anyone had turned in a black purse.

She reached under the counter and handed me my purse and said, "A gentleman went to get a cart and found your purse and handed it in."

I am so grateful to this honest man. I hope he has a very happy year because he deserves it.
