Grateful for ride on windy day

My husband and I had shopped at the River East Safeway and were about to walk home with seven bags of groceries.

It had become really windy, and our shopping bags were being blown around and starting to rip open. We hadn’t brought money or bus fare, so my husband decided to walk home and get bus fare while I waited.

Just then a very kind gentlemen stopped and offered us a ride home, even though he lived in the opposite direction to us.

We didn’t find out his name, but he was our good Samaritan for sure.
