Hearing aid returned
While shopping at both Walmart and Sobeys St. Vital recently, I lost a not inexpensive hearing aid.
It was raining quite heavily, and I had covered my head with a hood to keep moisture off the aids and had turned them down.
I didn’t noticed the left one was missing until I returned home and my wife asked where the left hearing aid was.
Well, panic ensued.
I couldn’t find it in the car or anywhere I’d been in our building including the parking garage. I retraced my steps to Sobeys without success except to get quite wet.
I tried the Walmart parking lot, and then without much hope, inquired at customer service. There, a very pleasant Walmart staffer informed me that indeed a hearing aid had been turned in by a gentlemen who suggested that someone might be needing it! He was correct in that assumption. Although he didn’t leave his name, I’d like to thank him sincerely for his kindness.
