I would like to acknowledge a Random Act of Kindness we experienced. I am unable to shovel lately due to a recent back injury, so my wife was out in our back lane shovelling the ridge made by the snowplough that had just gone by.
When the snow plow driver saw my wife shovelling the icy ridge, he backed up and proceeded to remove the ridge with the plough.
Since we can no longer be considered "young’uns," we were truly grateful for his kindness.
Besides being a Good Samaritan, he did a really thorough job in the lane, making it much more accessible.
Kudos to the thoughtful plow driver.
