Every day while riding in my truck, my kids roll down their windows and yell, "Have a nice day!"

Some people say it back and some just smile, while others might wave.

The other day, as usual, my kids greeted all who passed us by. That night, I checked my email and found one from a gentleman named Jeff Bell.

It read: "Hi Robyn. Your kids yelled ‘Have a nice day’ to me at Pembina and Stafford tonight. Tell them the guy on the motorcycle said he hopes they have a nice day, too!"

I thought this was the greatest response ever. I am a photographer and have my name, logo and info all over my truck. He must have taken a moment to remember my info. I read the message to my kids, and they were all smiles.

I sent Jeff a response but wanted to share his random act of kindness with everyone.

Thank you, Jeff Bell, for making my kids’ day.

— Robyn Shapiro
