Kindness from total strangers

We were celebrating my wife’s "39th" birthday at Mona Lisa Restaurant. I’d brought a rose and we had a marvellous candlelit supper, opening gifts and toasting.

When it came time to pay the bill, the server told us that the young couple a few tables over had paid for our meal. Both my wife and I were pleasantly shocked by such kindness from total strangers.

We both got up and thanked them. This act of kindness was the first for both of us. I can’t recall the couple’s names, but we would like to convey our sincere gratitude to both of them.
