Knights in shining armour no longer ride great steeds, they drive white pickup trucks.
On a hot Sunday afternoon, I stopped at the corner of Academy Road and Kenaston Boulevard, and my car just died. The engine wouldn’t turn over. I had no cellphone with me, no money or credit card, so I felt pretty helpless and unsure as to what to do. With help, I pushed the vehicle over to the side of the road so other cars could get by.
Then suddenly I saw a young man who had already passed me coming back. He pulled over, called a tow truck service he knew and waited with me until it came. He said he would take care of the tow but finally gave me his business card so I could reimburse him. When the tow truck arrived, he wished me luck and left.
