After purchasing my Christmas cheer supply at River and Osborne on a bitter cold, slippery day, I fell on my way to the car and smashed some of my purchases.
A man called Jerry, a former employee of the liquor commission, came to my rescue and, while I minded his shopping, he exchanged my damaged purchases.
Thanks to the commission for replacing my purchases — free of charge.
I want Jerry to know his help and thoughtfulness was very much appreciated.
