Hey there, time traveller!

I cannot begin to thank the wonderful young man, Steve, who came to my aid after I was struck by another vehicle as I approached Confusion Corner. My car was swept off the road, up the curb and then ran along a length of snow bank before finally coming to a stop.
As this was at the beginning of rush hour, there were several cars in the vicinity of the accident. However, only Steve stopped to provide assistance.
Steve pulled over immediately. I was sitting in my car, in shock, trying to catch my breath, unable to process what had happened, how I came to be on the snow bank, or what to do next.
My wonderful Good Samaritan walked me through the steps of turning off the ignition, putting the car into park and, after ascertaining that I was not seriously injured, helped me out of my vehicle and into his to wait for the paramedics.
As I was so shaken, he obtained all the particulars from the other driver on my behalf. His calm, reassuring demeanor, his confidence and efficiency helped me immensely. He stayed on the scene, even after the first responders arrived and waited with me until my husband came to pick me up.
Steve, thank you so very much for everything, your time, caring and willingness to help a stranger in need. You truly went above and beyond.
