My Li’l Angels

  • Print

My husband and I went out for a coffee at the St.Vital Centre one Saturday afternoon. I was having kind of a hard time.

These two teenage girls came up to me and said, "We think you are having a hard day and so we bought you this so that you can be happier." I looked down at the table and she put a Tim Horton’s card down.

I just welled up and could hardly say much, but I got out, "Thank you. Thank you."

It was a pre-purchased card for $3, and they wrote on it, "Keep smiling and have an amazing day," and they had drawn a happy face.

My husband told them that I have MS and some days I just have a hard time.

If all kids were raised to be like these two girls, the world would be a better place.

I will never forget them, whoever they are.

I call them my Li’l Angels.
