Hey there, time traveller!

While I was a patient at St. Boniface Hospital last summer, a very huge basket of fruit and candies was delivered to me.
There was a small envelope with my name on it attached to the basket. Unfortunately, there was no card inside, so I could not tell who sent the gift.
I have tried to find out who sent it so I could express my appreciation, but to no avail. What a fabulous gift! The fruit and candies lasted a long time and tasted so good. Such a thoughtful gesture.
So if the person who sent it reads this letter, many thanks. I’d like to thank you personally.
