No name for kind angel

  • Print

I was busily driving around town to visit people in hospitals and their homes and came home very tired.

I went to look for my wallet in my purse and realized I had lost it on the way. Panic hit me, since I had no idea where on my busy route I might have dropped it.

I phoned my sister and shared my plight, and she prayed for me. She then said, " It’s at Safeway, call them." That had been one of my first stops on the route.

I called the Safeway on Osborne, and the staff said, "Yes, it’s here." I was so relieved and quickly drove there to retrieve it.

I asked if they knew the name of the angel who had handed it in. They didn’t know, but suggested that I call back in the morning.

I returned to the Safeway the next day, and again asked if anyone knew who the angel was. I wanted to thank and reward them. Still no name, so when I saw the Free Press page with the random acts of kindness, I thought at least I could share what this kind stranger had done for me and bless whoever reads this.

So angel, thank you for stopping and picking up my wallet and handing it in to Safeway. Thank you to the kind people at Safeway on Osborne.
