Playing for laughs
I wanted to take the time to thank a group of comedians.
Nelson Mayer, co-organizer, got together a group of comedians who generously donated their time and effort, on Nov. 30, for a night of comedy that raised almost $2,000 for CancerCare Manitoba.
Shut Up and Bend Over — For Prostate Cancer Awareness was a huge success, thanks to Chad Illmatic Anderson, Scott Porteous, Cory Falvo, Dan Glasswick, Ryan Ash, Nelson Mayer, Paul Rabliausas, Tim Lowing, Kevin Dobbie, Matt Nightingale and our headliner, Don Burnstick.
If anyone who reads this ever gets a chance to see these comedians, jump at the opportunity. From start to finish, these comedians put the laughter smack down on the crowd.
A big thank you to the over 200 boisterous people that packed the house, and gave generously.
