I fell just outside the north entrance to Polo Park Shopping Centre. I have broken several bones previously, but I instantly knew this time it was different.
A gentleman pulled his car up in front of me and rushed to ask me how he could help. It soon became obvious that I couldn’t be moved. He immediately called the ambulance and my son.
He stayed with me until the ambulance arrived, and he really made a difficult situation much more bearable.
I am so sorry I don’t have his name, I know I asked him but in the trauma that followed, it slipped my mind.
I would like him to know he really made a difference.
