Santa turns up
My wife and I bought flowers to put on my parents’ grave as has been our custom for some years.
Arriving at St. John’s Cemetery off Main Street North, we were surprised to discover an unknown benefactor had beaten us there, having planted the very kind of flowers at the gravesite we had chosen.
There is no way of thanking such an act of kindness except by publishing it in the paper to show readers there really is a Santa Claus when you least expect it — and he or she has spiced up our life immensely.
— Lloyd and Marjorie Lovell
