So glad those nice young men were there

  • Print

My husband and I came out of the Boyd Building after an appointment. His brother drove up to the cutaway to pick us up.

My husband was in a wheelchair, but the path to the car and the curb was not well shovelled. Two nice young men who were walking down the street stopped and offered to help us get my husband into the car over the small snowbank.

My husband has MS and his left leg is very stiff. But they stopped, helped him into the car, bent his leg to get it in and offered to put his wheelchair into the trunk.

I was so surprised at their generosity that I forgot to ask their names. I hope they read this article. We would like to thank them for their caring and kindness. They were really guardian angels walking down Portage Avenue and we are glad they happened to be in front of the Boyd Building that day.

Thank you again.
