So grateful for kind people
On two separate occasions, I have gone into Elite Carpets on St. Anne’s Road looking for some assistance in solving a problem.
I explained that my husband suffers from ALS and uses a power wheelchair. While this is certainly an efficient method of transportation for him, early on we discovered that the wheelchair was tracking in grit and severely marking up our hardwood floors.
Both times, staff managed to find a piece of carpet that would serve our needs nicely.
Both times, I was informed there would be no charge.
Both times, staff carried the carpet out to my vehicle and wished me well.
As an ALS patient’s needs are rapidly and constantly changing, it becomes a disease that can incur a great financial burden. The thoughtful action of Elite Carpets not only eliminated an added expense, it also made us feel so grateful there are folks like you around.
Thank you, Elite Carpets, for your generosity and kindness.
