So many to thank
I would like to thank all the many people who stopped to help me at the corner of Stafford Street and Corydon Avenue. I had an accident on my motorcycle, was in a great deal of pain and several people stopped to help pull the bike off me, call for an ambulance and hold my hand until the fire, police, and paramedics arrived.
I had surgery to repair a shattered elbow and spent a week in the hospital.
Everything really does happen very quickly in these situations, and I didn’t get anyone’s name. But I truly do appreciate all the help that was offered that night and especially to the wonderfully calm woman who sat on the road and talked to me until help arrived.
