Strangers helped after fall

  • Print

I was leaving the Safeway on Kenaston Boulevard on June 17 when I missed the curb and fell in the middle of the road.

I broke my right arm and shoulder. A teenage girl rushed over to me and sat with me until the ambulance came. I did not get her name, but I saw she had an orange wallet. I would like to thank her. I would also like to thank the manager of the Safeway. I think his name is Ed. He was really good at directing traffic and trying to cheer me up. He also told me not to worry about my car, which I had to leave in the lot for the five days I was in hospital.

Also, thank you to these people on Plaza Drive: Iona, Terry, Shirley and John. Without their help, I do not know how I would have managed.

Thanks to all.
