Thank you, nice neighbour

  • Print

A couple years ago, at 9 a.m. Christmas Eve morning, we had a knock on our door and wondered who would brave our two huge dogs’ wrath to reach our door.

It was our neighbour on his way home from midnight shift. He’d walked past my car on the street and noticed my wallet laying on the ground. It had been there since the night before when I apparently dropped it. All the valuable items were in the wallet, my credit cards, 600 dollars cash.

He graciously returned all of the money, wallet and credit cards.

You can bet a nice reward was given to my neighbour, and we had a most beautiful Christmas reminder of how good people can truly be.

Thank you again, nice neighbour on Pacific Avenue West.
