Thankful for helpful neighbours

  • Print

My son and I planned to spend the day together doing errands. We bundled up and headed out.

We didn’t even get out of the parking lot of our condo complex. We got stuck in the snow, right up over the van’s front tires stuck. No amount of rocking and pushing could budge us.

I ran back to our unit to grab a shovel and on my way back, I noticed there was a couple from another unit bundled up like snowmen coming to help us. The four of us got me unstuck, and my son and I were on our way.

I wish I knew which unit they were from as I have a Timmies card in my wallet for them.

This is one of many reasons why I love this city. People always helping others.

Thanks so much to our helpful neighbours.
