Thanks for dialing, waiting
On my way to work, I stopped at the credit union at St. Anne’s and Beliveau roads.
I can never seem to line up my car window with the ATM so I had my driver’s side door open to reach the ATM. In the process, my cellphone fell to the ground, and I drove away unaware of its loss until I arrived at work.
My daughter works close to the credit union and I asked her to drive to the ATM and look for my phone. On her way, she got a call on her cellphone from a gentleman who had found my phone. Hers was the last number I called.
The man waited for her to arrive to hand off the phone. He had to rush off as he was going to be late for work so she didn’t get his name.
My thanks to this man who took the time to call and to wait. I hope he wasn’t late for work due his thoughtfulness and kindness.
