Thanks for help after accident
I would just like to thank the bus driver and all the people who stopped to help and make sure I was alright after I had a traffic accident at the circle on Lakewood Boulevard.
I was slowing down for a Yield sign at the traffic circle when I hit the frozen puddle and my car took on a life of its own. It went up on the median and hit a pole holding up a sign.
How very lucky I was that I was not going faster, and how wonderful the people of Winnipeg can be in a minor crisis.
Several men pushed me off the median and I was able to drive home. My car had only damage to the body and a flat tire. Thank you all very much!
