Thanks for kindness, compassion

  • Print

My husband and I attended a press conference at the Public Safety Building concerning our missing son, Robert (Bobby) Thomson.

We would like to extend our deep appreciation to the Missing Persons Unit of the Winnipeg Police Department for their genuine kindness and concern.

Throughout the time we spent in the building, the care, concern and thoughtfulness from each person we met made this very emotional and stressful time a little easier to bear. The way in which each individual treated us, explained procedures and ensured our comfort while showing tremendous attention to detail was extremely thoughtful and gratefully received.

It was very reassuring to meet such courteous, committed and professional personnel who can also show their compassionate human side.

We have the highest regard for each of you, and we are grateful for your exceptional dedication and persistence in the work you do every day.

— Robert and Patricia Thomson
