Thanks for the tow
I was travelling home on Highway 2 after attending a funeral. I hit an icy patch and ended up sliding sideways into the ditch.
My 4X4 would not budge and I was in the process of calling for a tow when a very nice gentleman and his wife stopped their van to see if I needed assistance.
Within five minutes, four pickup trucks and a repair van also stopped to see if they could help.
Despite the initial lack of a rope or chain, one was finally located and I was out of the ditch and on my way again within 20 minutes.
To all the kind people who saved the day, I cannot say thank you enough. You have reaffirmed my belief in the kindness and generosity of my fellow Manitobans.
