Thanks to Jeffery’s mom
I had just sat down in the St. Vital food court with my seven-year-old niece and my five-year-old nephew with a tray full of hot A&W food.
As I was distributing the food, most of my niece’s onion rings accidentally fell to the floor. She was good about it and her brother was kind enough to share his order with her.
A few minutes later, a lady from a nearby table presented my niece with a fresh, new full portion of hot onion rings.
She said she felt bad that the little girl had spilled her portion so she asked for more on her behalf. I was very grateful, as was my niece and made sure she went over to thank the lady.
As the lady was getting up to leave, I thought she looked familiar. So I got up to ask if she had a son name Jeffery, which she did. I introduced myself and told her I had gone to elementary school many years before with him.
I hugged her and thanked her again for her kindness and wished her and Jeffery well.
A big thank you to Jeffery’s mom and A&W.
