Thanks to the boy in blue
I took my little brother and sister to the movies at the Towne Cinema 8.
Unfortunately, the movie we went to see was broken, and there were no other kids’ movies playing.
We had to wait a while for our ride, and my siblings were jumping around and a bit bored.
I want to thank the boy in the blue shirt who took two loonies out of his five dollars and gave it to my little brother and sister, ages 7 and 5, to play an arcade car-racing game.
It made what could have been a disappointing night a great one.
Neither one had played a big arcade machine "for real" before. We usually "just pretend" play with no money in the machine. It was the topic of conversation all the way home.
Thanks to the boy in blue!
