Thanks to winter angel

I was on my way to appointment in Winnipeg in December when my car started to vibrate and smell of burned rubber.

As soon as I could, I pulled into a gas station off Linden Woods Drive hoping to receive some assistance with my flat tire — to no avail. I was left alone to try to remove the bolts that kept my tire on so firmly.

The first three were easy, the other two impossible to turn. As I struggled with the tire wrench in minus 20 degree weather, tears of frustration came rolling down my face. Then a voice from a stranger asked if he could give me a hand. This kind, thoughtful, caring man helped take off my tire and he placed my spare tire on for me.

When I asked what I owed him, he looked at me and said, "You don’t. Merry Christmas!" To the wonderful gentleman who stopped at the Safeway Gas Bar in Linden Woods that cold December day, thank you so very much for extending your hands to assist me in my time of despair. May God Bless you many, many times.

You are my winter Angel!

Thanks so very much.
