This story is made in Winnipeg

I grew up in Winnipeg, but have been living in Vancouver for the past 11 years. I often miss the kind and friendly spirit of prairie people.

Recently, I visited the wonderful Manitoba Museum with my sisters and niece. Before going inside, I unknowingly dropped my credit card in the parking lot.

Hours later, I returned to my car and what did I see? My credit card had not only been picked out of the snow, but it had been tucked behind the driver’s door handle so that I would surely see it.

A big thank you to the honest and thoughtful person who did that.

I will share this story with my West Coast friends and tell them, "Only in Winnipeg!"
