Wallet returned
I am a mobility-challenged senior who rarely gets out for shopping trips. My family had taken me out for some Christmas shopping, including a stop at the Chapters outlet at Polo Park.
When I went to pay for my purchases, I realized my wallet was missing. It must have dropped out of my pocket as I was getting out of the car.
We quickly retraced our steps, and when we were unable to find it, I returned home to start the lengthy process of cancelling credit cards and replacing ID.
My daughter decided to make one last round of phone calls to see if the wallet had been turned in. Some kind stranger had, in fact, turned in my wallet to Chapters, including the large amount of cash it had contained.
I’m so grateful for the honesty and consideration of the person who found my wallet, and to the nice folks at Chapters that got everything back to me.
