We need more Daves

  • Print

An unfortunate incident occurred at Unicity and I was unable to drive home. I thought I might take the bus, but found out it only ran hourly.

It was about 40 below with the windchill so walking was not an option. I went to the Bulk Barn to use their phone to call a cab or a friend. When Dave, the manager, heard of my plight, he offered to drive this senior home almost immediately.

After a moment’s hesitation, I accepted.

One so often hears of man’s inhumanity to man, then along comes a "Dave." I strongly recommend the Bulk Barn in Unicity to everyone because I believe if the manager is this great, then his food supply must be also.

I shall pass this good deed on ASAP.
