Kelly putting on game face

The Blue Bombers continue to prepare for Thursday's season opener in Edmonton against the Eskimos and coach Mike Kelly, who has suggested it's just another football game, is getting wound tighter and tighter each day.

Kelly lost his mind during practice on Monday when a Global TV camera appeared to be taping a segment of practice Kelly didn't want filmed.

Later in the practice Kelly started waving his arms and screaming when another set of cameras began to setup on the sideline.

Following practice, Kelly gave CJOB's Bob Iriving an interview and then refused to talk to the rest of the assembled media.

The Bombers do have a policy for filming practice and Global appeared to have broken those rules but the print media and two other TV outlets were not in violation and therefore should not have been given the cold shoulder by Kelly.

Defensive tackle Doug Brown missed practice for the second straight day due to the flu and offensive lineman Lorne Plante did not take part due to an undisclosed injury.
