Winnipeg's "Airwolf"

Anyone remember that awesome (horrible) 80's TV series "Airwolf", about the high-tech military helicopter used on covert missions for the CIA? I LOVED that show! I'm sure I'm not alone when I say it had the best theme song in the history of television.

About Tyler Walsh

You might think a newspaper would be a strange place for a television news producer to land a job, but for Free Press multimedia editor Tyler Walsh, it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

Tyler entered the newsroom in January 2008 with video camera and laptop in tow. As multimedia editor, he oversees production of videos, slide shows and other projects at winnipegfreepress.com.

What excited him about making the move to the Free Press was the fact that multimedia at a newspaper is a relatively new concept, meaning there’s an opportunity to shape the entire direction of the medium.

Tyler came to the Free Press after spending four years at Global Winnipeg. He’s a graduate of the Creative Communications program at Red River College.

He and his wife Carly and sons Jack and Noah live in the rural landscape of Charleswood.
