Hey there, time traveller!

That's Prince Albert, the small Saskatchewan city I should clearly just move to.PA keeps popping up around here lately. First, it's the place where the Cree Nation child welfare agency - one of the ones under scrutiny for overspending and nepotism - often held its board meetings and staff retreats and stuff. Why not just hold them in a meeting room in The Pas, where the agency has its headquarters? Because, say several former staffers, you get a way better per diem for out-of-province travel, so it's worth a few hours on the road. Every time I spoke to the former workers, it was "PA this" and "PA that".Now, PA is where the Western Premiers are having their annual confab. Rookie Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall is hosting, and all the premiers, including Doer, are gathering there tonight. That is basically the most interesting thing I know about the premiers' meeting, that it's in PA. What significant projects or policies might emerge from these huddles, I have no idea.
