"My budding artist son and I are tag-teaming Vincent Van Gogh, A Life in Letters & Art by Rosalind Ormiston. What originally started out as a source of inspiration for him has turned into a fascinating read for me. Van Gogh's letters offer such a personal and profound insight to his life -- his dreams, disappointments and passions -- that reading them makes him human to me. I have three young children, and my reading lately tends to focus on all things formative. I recently finished Hold on to Your Kids, a great view on peer influence."
