"I have been reading the only novel Johnny Cash wrote, Man in White, a story about the Apostle Paul from the Bible. I love Johnny Cash. When you listen to most Johnny Cash songs, it's not just verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus: 90 per cent of his songs are stories from beginning to end. Every song is a story, so it didn't surprise me at all that he could write a book and bring you right into it."
