On the Night Table with Charlene Walberg
President of Asperger Manitoba
"I always have several books on the go. First I'm re-reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon, a mystery novel told by a character with Asperger syndrome, which helped me better understand my son. Next is Late, Lost and Unprepared by Joyce Cooper-Kahn and Laurie Dietze. It's a great read that gave me ideas about how to teach executive functioning to my son. Topping off my nightstand is Nicholas Sparks' The Best of Me, a novel about two lovers who grew apart but are reunited after the death of a mutual close friend."
