Winnipeg Free Press - PRINT EDITION
On the NightTable: Theresa Oswald
Manitoba's Minister of Health
"At present, the book on my night stand is Through Black Spruce by Joseph Boyden. He won the Giller Prize for this novel in 2008. I've been a member of a fabulous book club for 16 or 17 years, and this is the next title on our list. We've read roughly 165 books together and we rate each one. Favourites include A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, Barney's Version by Mordecai Richler and Disgrace by J.M. Coetzee. I recommend everyone find a good book club. It's great for one's mental health."
